If you’re in the west, you deserve the best. Rudimentary is a no-fuss, sustainable and seriously fresh café in Footscray. Based on an ephemeral concept, the café is designed to be taken down and moved when needed. Three shipping containers house the eatery where you can enjoy great food and coffee. Outside is a beautiful garden where they grow produce, including edible flowers! You’ll be just as impressed with the food as you are with the décor. The crowd favourite here is the Pork Belly, served with crispy pigs ear, chilli and tamarind. For brunch try the Burger – buttermilk chicken, mayo, green apple and celery slaw and jalapeno.
